The Ryan Tubridy Show

We kicked the week off by celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at The Devonshire in Soho and Dara Ó Briain popped by and so did our very own Angela Scanlon! Cian Ducrot also performed some incredible live tracks which you can on our YouTube channel.Author and broadcaster Chris Smith came in to chat about bringing back The Famous Five! Simon Fowler from Ocean Colour Scene came by and he told Ryan about Chris Evans' role was in breaking Ocean Colour Scene into the mainstream back in the 90s! He also performed some live tracks which are also on our YouTube channel to watch. And if that wasn’t enough, the incredibly talented Liz Pichon came by to chat about her latest kids book, Meet The Mubbles!

This week, Ryan had a fantastic chat with Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol about his debut book, The Forest Is The Path!Ryan found an unlikely friendship with actor Mark Bonnar who came on to chat about starring alongside Woody Harrelson in Last Breath. Shebahn Aherne dialled in from Cheltenham to give Ryan the low down on all the festivities!And if that wasn’t enough, the formidable Marisa Abela came on to tell me all about starring alongside Michael Fassbender in Black Bag!

This week, Ryan had a really fantastic chat about The Oscars with Bronte Coy, Senior Entertainment Reporter for News Australia! KT Tunstall also popped by to chat about being the maestro behind Clueless The Musical. She also performed a couple of tracks live for us which you can watch on the Virgin Radio UK YouTube Channel!Damien Maloney is back on our screens as Bergerac and he was great company when he came in the other day. And if that wasn’t enough, Lorraine Kelly off the telly swung by the studio to talk about the paperback release of her debut novel, The Island Swimmer.

This week Ryan caught up with Brian Cox and his wife Nicole who are treading the boards together in The Score at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.Ryan also chatted with Will Mellor and Ralf Little about their upcoming Two Pints tour!

Ryan also geeked out with James May when he came in to talk about his new show, James May’s Great Explorers. Adele Parks also popped by to tell Ryan all about the paperback release of her 24th novel, First Wife’s Shadow. And if that wasn’t enough, Ryan was lucky enough to go and interview the formidable Stockard Channing at the Duke of York's Theatre in the West End, where she is starring in Elektra.

This week, Ryan had the pleasure of chatting to Dublin-raised author Ferdia Lennon about his new book, Glorious Exploits. Tim Campbell got us excited about the new series of The Apprentice, and former CIA analyst David McCloskey shared secrets from his new novel; The Seventh Floor!

This week, Ryan had the pleasure of chatting with the incredible Eve Myles who is starring in The Crow Girl on Paramount+. The multi-talented Trudie Styler took us to Italy when she popped by to chat about her latest documentary, Posso Entare? An Ode to Naples!  And we rolled out the red carpet for Felicity Jones who came in ahead of the release of The Brutalist which she stars in alongside Adrien Brody!

This week, Ryan had the pleasure of chatting with the incredible Ragnar Jónasson about the paperback release of his book, Death At The Sanatorium. He also spoke to Jared Harris about returning to The Royal Shakespeare Company for the first time in 35 years to play Claudius in a highly anticipated production of ‘Hamlet’.
