The Road to Cozy

You’ve Come Further Than You Think

Season 1, Ep. 48

In today’s episode, I talk about the gentle power of looking back — at your day, your week, or even your year — and actually noticing what you’ve done.

Just like practicing gratitude, reflecting on what you’ve already accomplished helps you see that you’re often further along than your mind wants to admit.

I share honestly about my own recent moment of disappointment — feeling like I haven’t come as far as I wanted since starting TIR — and how sitting down and looking at everything I have done shifted something inside me.

Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s next that we forget to see what already is.

This is a soft reminder to pause, acknowledge, and celebrate the steps you’ve already taken. 💛

    Welcome back to another cozy episode!Todays episode is all about the importance of those bad days that we might want to skip sometimes. • 50. Take a Break From Everything Once in a While

    28:43||Season 1, Ep. 50
    Sometimes it’s not the big routines or life-changing decisions that shape our well-being — it’s the tiniest acts we do without even thinking.In this episode, I talk about the small habits we so easily take for granted — brushing our teeth, taking a shower, getting dressed for the day. After being sick and letting all of it go for a few days, I was reminded of how deeply these little rituals affect how I feel.When we pause and come back to them, something shifts. Gratitude returns. Presence returns. And suddenly, what once felt ordinary becomes sacred again.Because if something as simple as a shower can change how we feel, imagine the quiet magic of everything else we do — all the small, loving actions we show ourselves, our families, our children, every single day. 💛–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––👇🏽 MORE COZY CONTENT 👇🏽📚 Join my Book Club (coming soon!)🧘🏽‍♀️ Book a Free Coaching Discovery Call🎧 Listen to the Road to Cozy PlaylistHost: @wahlgren.lindaPodcast IG: @theroadtocozy🎶 Music by @tinydays_music – available on Spotify
  • 49. Don’t Drop the Glass Balls

    16:29||Season 1, Ep. 49
    In today’s episode, I talk about the glass balls and the rubber ones — the things in life we can drop for a while and pick up again, and the ones that truly can’t be replaced.Some things will bounce back — routines, small habits, tasks that can wait. But the glass balls? Those are your relationships, your dreams, your self-trust, your health, your purpose. If you drop them, they can crack. You might be able to glue them together again, but they’ll never be quite the same.I share my reflections on how to recognize your own glass balls and what it means to protect them, even when life feels full. I also talk about the “Eat That Frog” mindset — doing the hard thing first, the one that pushes you forward and out of your comfort zone — and about the power of getting back up one more time than you fall.Because it’s not about never slipping. It’s about knowing what truly matters, and choosing to keep catching what counts.
  • 47. Decluttering: Making Space for What Matters

    30:04||Season 1, Ep. 47
    In today’s episode, I’m continuing the conversation from last week about finding our way back to focus. This time, I’m talking about the power of decluttering—not just our homes, but our minds, our schedules, and our energy.Decluttering is such a simple yet profound way to realign with where we’re headed. When we clear away what no longer belongs, we send a clear signal—to ourselves and to the universe—that we’re ready to welcome in what’s next.This is an invitation to pause, release, and create space. To ask: What in my life is truly supporting the version of me I want to become? And what is simply noise?If you’ve been feeling scattered, heavy, or unclear, maybe it’s time to let go… so your focus and energy can return to what really matters.Thank you for being here with me.
  • 46. Finding My Way Back to Focus

    33:09||Season 1, Ep. 46
    After five weeks away, I’m back—and today I want to talk about focus.The last couple of weeks, my focus has felt scattered and unclear. Just before that, I was in such a flow with laser-sharp attention… and then it all slipped. In this episode, I share honestly about losing my rhythm, why it’s been hard to return, and how I’ve found my way back.For me, the key has been to step back and reconnect with the feeling of my goal fulfilled. That’s where our focus belongs—not in endless to-do’s or busywork, but in the vision we’re moving toward. From that place, the right tasks come naturally.If you’ve ever lost your sense of direction, I hope this reflection helps you soften, reset, and remember where your true focus lives.Thank you for being here with me again.
  • 45. Acceptance, Flow, and Honoring Your Decisions

    23:35||Season 1, Ep. 45
    In today’s episode, I’m sharing something I’ve been practicing lately—what it means to stop fighting how I feel, and instead move with gentle acceptance.I talk about two moments from my own life: waking up early when I feel so tired, and navigating those parenting moments when my son does something I wish he wouldn’t. In both cases, I’ve learned that resisting my feelings only makes them heavier.The shift comes when I accept exactly where I am—tired, grumpy, sad, unmotivated—and still honor the decisions I’ve made for the life I want to live. Not by covering it up with fake positivity, but by saying, this is me right now… and I’m still going to do my best.It’s about making decisions from the version of you you’re becoming, and then meeting the present moment with compassion.Thank you for listening, and for walking this path alongside me.
  • 44. Who Gets to Decide? Navigating the Versions of You

    26:50||Season 1, Ep. 44
    In today’s episode, I’m exploring something I think so many of us wrestle with:What version of you gets to make decisions?I talk about the inner conflict that happens when one part of us makes an aligned decision—from clarity, vision, or purpose—and then another version wakes up tired, overwhelmed, or doubtful… and breaks that decision.It’s easy to feel like we’re failing ourselves. But what if the real issue is that we’re letting the wrong version of us make the call in that moment?The truth is: there are many versions of you. But only one of them is leading you where you truly want to go. The key is to make decisions from her—and then help all the other versions follow through.This episode is a gentle, honest reflection on self-leadership, identity, and honoring the you that you’re becoming.Thanks for being here with me.
  • 43. AI, Meaning, and the Power of Our Tools

    36:19||Season 1, Ep. 43
    In today’s episode, I dive into something that’s been on my mind lately—AI, ChatGPT, and the stories we attach to the tools around us.I use the hand as a metaphor: our hands can create connection, beauty, safety… but they can also harm. The hand itself isn’t good or bad—it’s how we choose to use it that gives it meaning. I believe the same is true for AI.There’s so much fear in the collective right now around artificial intelligence. But what if, instead of fearing it, we started seeing it as a powerful creative partner—something that can help us bring more life, truth, and soul into the world?Because whatever we approach with fear tends to grow in fear. But when we choose intention, presence, and meaning—we create something entirely different.Thank you for listening. I hope this episode sparks something new in you.See you next time 💛–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––👇🏽 MORE COZY CONTENT 👇🏽📚 Join my Book Club (coming soon!)🧘🏽‍♀️ Book a Free Coaching Discovery Call🎧 Listen to the Road to Cozy PlaylistHost: @wahlgren.lindaPodcast IG: @theroadtocozy🎶 Music by @tinydays_music – available on Spotify
