Catholic Charities Achieves Nevada's First Recovery Residence Certification

Catholic Charities of Northern Nevadas Battle Born Housing Plus program has earned the first-ever certification from the National Association of Recovery Residences in Nevada. This program, designed to support individuals overcoming substance use disorder, offers a structured and supportive environment to promote long-term sobriety and successful reintegration into the community. With twenty-eight studio apartments and a thirty-bed community living space, the program provides personalized support plans, including onsite drug testing, counseling, peer support, and employment assistance. The organization aims to expand its services to help more women in the region, but this depends on securing additional facilities.
