While businesses and organizations around the world shift their attention to surviving the global economic impact of Covid-19, regulators are reminding us that we still have a responsibility to safeguard the personal information of individuals whose data we store and process. In other words, compliance with data privacy laws has not been put on hold, even in such extraordinary times as these.
In this podcast, we try to address some of the questions raised by corporations facing what can only be described as a data privacy conundrum, when dealing with health-related information, movement of individuals and lawful basis for processing.
