Guess who's back, back again? No, not him, but us! After an unplanned holiday, we return to discuss, well, holidays. We hear about childhood trips from the parents, the original spark (or lack thereof) of their international move, and when I had to make a nail biting choice between being cold and peaceful, or warm and disturbed.

We delve deeper into Shtee's experience at the Presidential Prayer Breakfast, how simplicity is often the answer, and some genial chat about the early internet. No spoilers, but we discuss the dial up tone at one point and I promised to insert it at the end of the episode, which I did. The particular recording I yoinked was recorded by William Termini on his iMac G3, and I found the recording from this blog post by Oona Räisänen which breaks down the sound of dial up into it's component parts, displays them visually, and explains what each part is. Fantastic, ain't it?

It's not Bertie, it's just episode thirty. We get a live reading of an historic document, learn about the dangers of being available around movers and shakers, and a couple of presidentially-adjacent stories... yowzer.

Feeling fine at episode twenty-nine. We hear about yet another mid-air drama and discuss our family holiday to South Africa. Show note: the wing-walker Shtee mentions is Gladys Ingle.

In episode 28 a speech is written but not read, a peanut allergy is mentioned but not heeded, and Shtee feels the allure of power... dangerous times in The Podclarkes!

For the twenty seventh episode, Shtee tells us about some precious cargo he dumped in his car boot, something surprising hidden up a sleeve, and a why launches are good, but in one case, less so. Also Mutts sounds like she's down a well for no particular reason.

This time it's all about a secret spy spilling secret spy secrets! Or something. Also we hear more detail about the project that took up 15 years of Shtee's working life, Education Saves Lives. In this episode we are promised one great story, but we get a couple of bonuses too! We hear about all Shtee's hopes being pinned on one international logistics operation, an unfortunate case of mistaken pedal identity, and a hitchhiker who answered a prayer.
