Stephen Thompson, Jr. (aka "StephenSZN") returns to the Play-By-Play Analysis to discuss the biggest weekend on the WWE calendar, and all the biggest matches from Jade Cargill and Naomi to Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk to John Cena and Cody Rhodes. It all goes down in Las Vegas April 19-20!

The Eagles have taken down another dynasty, and this time they did it in dominant fashion. And in fitting fashion, Kendrick Lamar recruited Samuel L. Jackson, SZA and Serena Williams, a fellow Compton legend, to take yet another shot at Drake's own dynastic run in hip hop. Shoutout to Randy Orton, because this show is all about Legend Killers.

Shoutout to Jayden Daniels. That's all I got to say. We're back for the first time in 2025, and while Jamal gets to vent about his Chargers and Longhorns, this a pro-Jayden Daniels episode! Also, the College Football season concludes in Atlanta on Martin Luther King Day (The ONLY event of relevance that day, fuck an inauguration), and there's a chance we could see the first black college football coach win a championship, so yeah. Play-By-Play is back, y'all!

This will probably be the last episode of 2024 because this year sucked and I'd rather not go into a recap. But one thing is true: This was a fantastic year for music, whether you were tuned in to Kendrick and Drake or were getting your cowboy on with Beyonce, there was something for everyone. We called up our friend Earl Hopkins, an arts and culture reporter and co-host of the Rap & Reason Podcast to discuss the year that was in hip hop and beyond: projects we loved, projects we didn't love and what we can expect as we head into the new year! On the newest episode of We See You, my bro Kurt Kennedy stops by to get his flowers. He was just 17 when he arrived at Morgan State with aspirations to work in the world of physics. Now he's currently in Nashville working on his Ph.D. He tells us where that love of physics comes from, and what he hopes to accomplish after grad school.

Stephen Thompson, Jr. is a proud Morgan graduate and a walking business, but he's also a proud man of God. In addition to coining the phrase "Stephen SZN" and ultimately turning it into his own business, Stephen's faith has always been at the center of everything he does. It's why he felt inspired to start the Prayer Walk, a tradition at Morgan State that still gets done to this day before each fall semester, when students and organizations all across campus come together and walk to the center of campus to pray over the university. Stephen talks about how the idea came to be, and what makes being an alumni of Morgan State so special to him and to so many others.

The 2022 Cricket Celebration Bowl between Jackson State and North Carolina Central is the greatest HBCU football game I’ve ever seen. T’ona McBride, like me, was in Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. She was working as a member of the Eagles football team’s equipment staff at the time, and vividly remembers the feelings of vindication and joy she felt when her beloved Eagles pulled off the upset win over the Tigers after they were cast off as an afterthought in the game’s lead up. But T’ona’s love for NC Central extends far beyond just one game. On the newest episode of We See You, she sat down to explain what makes North Carolina Central special to her, being a witness to that 2022 Celebration bowl and why NC Central’s homecoming is an underrated gem.
