As many pharmacists will know, there is often a misconception about what you actually do and how well qualified you actually are. This is no more prevalent than in general practiceI'm sure you all have stories that contain comments such as "Don't you just sell stuff behind the counter at Boots?", or "Do you have to go to University for that?", and the classic "You only became a Pharmacist because you couldn't be a doctor."As providers of general practice pharmacist services, we wanted to try and do something about this.In this Podcast our panel of Pharmacists will discuss the intricacies of their role, and how it fits in alongside other healthcare professionals, as well as dispelling common misconceptions and myths when it comes to medicines, and their prescribing.
