EP697 Paul Meets: Allison Feldt | From New Mom to Multi-Million Dollar Clinic Owner

Ep. 697

In this episode of Paul Meets, I sit down with someone I’ve known since the very early days of her journey, Allison Feldt (https://bodymotionpt.com/).

Allison’s story is one of the most important conversations I’ve had on this podcast.

She started her business in 2017 just weeks after having her second child. No safety net. No guaranteed income. No clear plan. Just a deep need to make something work for her family and a willingness to learn what most clinic owners avoid.

Fast forward to today and Allison runs a multi-million-dollar physical therapy business with a 17-person team, has fully stepped out of treatment, and is now building something much bigger than a clinic.

In this conversation, we talk about:

  • What it actually feels like trying to get from $100K to $300K when you’re stressed, overwhelmed, and carrying everything
  • Why learning marketing and sales changed not just her income, but patient outcomes
  • The guilt, resistance, and outside voices that tell you to “just be grateful” and stop wanting more
  • How unresolved personal baggage quietly caps your business growth
  • The identity shifts required to move from clinician to leader to brand
  • Why stepping out of the clinic was harder emotionally than financially
  • How personal brand, visibility, and being “seen” became the real growth lever
  • Why the future of PT is not just healthcare, but healthcare plus wellness and media

This isn’t a tactics episode.

It’s a conversation about identity, leadership, confidence, motherhood, ambition, and what it really takes to build a business that doesn’t trap you.

If you’re a clinic owner who’s been told you have to choose between family and success, or that your ambition should quiet down once life gets busy, this episode will challenge that belief head-on.

In this episode of Paul on Fire, I’m laying out five predictions I’m extremely confident about for 2026 and why the “middle of the road” clinic is about to get crushed. If your practice is sitting in that uncomfortable $20K–$40K per month zone with decent marketing, rising costs, and shrinking margins, this is your warning. The clinic itself is no longer the asset. Location is no longer the advantage. Visibility is.

I break down why attention will matter more than bricks and mortar, why “good enough” marketing won’t be good enough anymore, and why clinics with authority, leverage, and systems will pull away fast. I also explain what’s really happening on Facebook and Instagram right now, why authentic insight will outperform polished content, and why this is a rare 12–18 month window you cannot afford to waste.

We also talk AI. Not as a shiny tech toy, but as an operational survival decision. AI won’t replace physios, but it will replace inefficient clinics, front desk chaos, bloated payrolls, and slow follow up. Clinics that ignore it will feel slower, more expensive, and more stressful in 2026.

Finally, I get into the real bottleneck most clinic owners won’t want to hear about: identity. The way you see yourself will either be your biggest accelerator or the thing that quietly holds you back. This episode is about leadership, leverage, visibility, and making the shift before the market forces it on you.

If you want a real wake up call heading into 2026, this one’s for you.

  • 722. EP722 Stop Flying Blind — The 6 Numbers Every PT Clinic Owner Must Know to Build a $1.5 Million Practice!

    19:48||Ep. 722
    Stop Being a Great Clinician and Start Being a Great Business Owner!Here's the hard truth — your clinical skills got you started, but they will never get you to where you want to go. The top 1% of PT clinic owners aren't winning because they're better at treating patients. They're winning because they know their numbers cold.And right now? You're probably flying blind.In this episode, I'm handing you the exact six data points that the most successful cash pay PT clinics in the world are tracking every single day. These aren't theories. These are real numbers from real clinics doing real revenue — and I'm laying them out for you one by one.We're talking about why $1.5 million is the magic revenue target. Why you must pay yourself at least $150,000 before we even talk about profit. Why your labor efficiency ratio will tell me in three seconds whether your business is making money or hemorrhaging it. And why 20% profit isn't a dream — it's the standard.Most clinic owners will never hit these numbers because they refuse to look at them. They'd rather stay comfortable, stay stuck, and wonder why the business isn't growing.Don't be that person.Know your numbers. Own your business. Build something worth keeping — or worth selling.

  • 720. EP720 Charge What You're Worth and Watch Your Practice Explode — Your Price Is Your Power! [PPM Live Dublin]

    28:32||Ep. 720
    You have a choice to make TODAY.Are you going to keep doing the same thing that's kept you stuck, or are you finally going to commit to building the practice you've always said you wanted?The truth is, most physical therapists are leaving thousands of dollars on the table every single month — not because they lack skill, but because they lack the self-belief to charge what they're actually worth. Your pricing isn't a math problem, it's a mirror. And until you fix what's staring back at you, nothing changes.The good news? You are 90 days away from a completely different business. New pricing. New patients. New freedom. But only if you stop waiting and start committing.The tools are there. AI alone is saving business owners 90 minutes a day. Your competitors are using it right now to build waitlists, create programs, and dominate their markets while you're still drowning in admin work you could automate before lunch.Stop trading your time for pennies. Stop letting fear set your rates. And for the love of everything, stop waiting for the perfect moment — because the perfect moment is right now.Commit. Price up. Build the life you actually want.
