The Paranoid Strain
Assassinations (non-JFK edition)
My, my, my. Have two months flown by already? Where does the time go? Thanks for all of your concern–I safely escaped from the clutches of the Chads, though at the loss of significant dignity (and sanity). And to celebrate, I made you a piping hot podcast episode. Hold on. It needs to cool for a few minutes. Don’t burn yourself. This is the first of our two assassination episodes. In part one, we cover a huge swath of very bloody history, culminating in the senseless murders of two important Americans within a few months of each other in 1968. Along the way, we explain why we can know that some victims of assassination were the target of conspiracies (Caesar and Lincoln), while others weren’t (MLK and RFK). We also explore some conspiracy theory cinema in our new Paranoid Strain goes to the Movies segment. Next month, as you would probably... (read more at TheParanoidStrain.com)
New! Qanon: How we got here - JP Morgan Sinks the Titanic
Season 5, Ep. 4
The last gasp of our Fed-related shows, this covers the truly goofy shit--sordid plots to sink huge ships to keep people who don't oppose the Fed from...opposing the Fed. Angels shacking up with human women to spawn giants who found the Federal Reserve. Plus, some sensible discussion of problems (and potential solutions) for how the Fed works, complements of Mr. Greeley. Next time: RUSSIA, COMRADES!
New! Qanon: How we got here - The Fed the Bitcoin Bros, and the Goldbugs
Season 5, Ep. 3
Episode 3! We hope you like hearing Federal reserve conspiracy theories debunked, because boy, that's what you're getting this time. Thrill to the history of monetary policy. Experience the chills of arguing with bitcoin enthusiasts on Twitter! Seriously, though, our interviewee is great, and we think this is a really rare opportunity to learn some super-interesting stuff about the way the most complex and hidden parts of our economic system works. We hope you agree. Next time, a bunch of Really Crazy Shit. See you soon
New! Qanon: How we got here - Part 2: Q and the Jekyll Island Conspiracy
Season 5, Ep. 1
Second episode! Which means the introduction to this series literally took up an entire episode. Does that mean we're getting better or worse? Hard to say. This time, we're taking on the conspiracist view of what actually transpired on Jekyll Island back in 1910. Was it a conspiracy? Yes! Did mainstream historians already know that? Yes. What does it have to do with Qanon? We're more than happy to show you. Hope you enjoy it--see you next time.
