Welcome back to episode 18 of The Outspoken! This week, I’m joined by Nicola, a body confidence coach I connected with after one of my handstand workshops in Liverpool.

We’re diving into her journey of overcoming disordered eating, building self-esteem, and breaking free from the pressures of the fitness industry. From the mental and physical challenges of body image to finding joy in movement and coaching others, Nicola shares her inspiring story.

Along the way, we chat about the emotional side of fitness, the power of NLP, and even her creative project—a body confidence tarot card deck launching soon. It’s all about embracing imperfection, challenging comfort zones, and learning to see ourselves in a new light. Let’s dive in!

Welcome to the 10th episode of The Outspoken podcast. It's been a while, but life has been hectic. I'm back now, promising consistency. Since the last episode, I've had some great experiences, from nights out with friends to surfing in Cornwall. I've also started my own handstand classes, which has been both exciting and challenging. Feedback has been positive, but I still struggle to accept compliments. In terms of fitness, my training is going well, thanks to my coach, and I've learned to prioritize experiences over strict dieting. I've also developed a love for iced coffee, which keeps me going during busy days.I've recently discovered some handy iPhone features, like creating lists in Notes and a quicker way to type with one finger. I'm eager to bring more guests onto the podcast, so stay tuned for some interesting discussions. Thanks for tuning in!
