The Killing of Boston Police Officer, John O’Keefe: FT Boston PI Barry Maguire

Season 1, Ep. 5

On the morning of January 29, 2022, off-duty Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe was found dead in the snow in front of a friend’s home in Canton, Massachusetts. The house on 34 Fairview Rd. belonged to fellow Boston Police Officer, Brian Albert; who alleges that O'Keefe was never inside of his home the evening prior to his death. O'Keefe's girlfriend Karen Read was eventually arrested and charged with fatally hitting O'Keefe with her SUV in a supposed drunken stupor, leaving him to die. In what's now been coined as the "Canton Cover-Up" via Turtleboy Daily News, there's more to this story than what the mainstream media is reporting. We're joined by Boston Private Investigator and host of the Boston Confidential Podcast, Barry Maguire, to discuss this wild case.

UPDATE: As of 1/18/2024, Read's lawyers pushed to unseal communication between the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office and federal authorities, alleging that there are letters that reveal the DA as the target of a federal investigation.
