Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón revealed his recommendation regarding the fate of Erik and Lyle Menendez, the brothers convicted of murdering their parents in 1989. Gascón suggested a commutation of their sentence to one that allows parole eligibility. His recommendation reportedly goes a step further, advocating that the Menendez brothers be granted immediate parole, however, a judge must approve once this is filed with the court.
