The Outer Reels

Sam talked about this one for a while, and after a bit of an adventure we were finally (unfortunately?) able to watch it.

This is actually called "H.G. Wells' The Shape of Things to Come", but it has nothing to do with the H.G. Wells novel. Also, this is hot garbage, but Jack Palance does wear a cape.

Come to hear us try and understand this movie that we could barely hear, but stay for Sam's story about his dad designing a new motorcycle engine! Oh, and shockingly Jason develops a crush on our lead French actress.

The people who made this movie appear to have hated it, but we found a lot to like, even if it's not a sequel to Death Race 2000.

Sam does it again in forgetting what the actual theme of the season is, though he's quick to point out that there is now a quarry in downtown LA, so it's close enough? Plus, David Carradine phones this in, but still manages to elevate it past where it should be.

This one is wild, and we both had a lot of fun it it's insanity.

Sam thought he had a post apocalyptic movie, but it turns out to just be a dystopia. Meanwhile, Jason is sorry he was sick (again).
