The stolen goods included power tools, construction equipment, and everyday items like laundry detergent. The crew, led by Armando Diaz, would check online inventory the night before and meet early in the morning to execute their thefts. They would then resell the stolen items through a storefront in Brooklyn or on Facebook Marketplace. Thirteen people have been charged in a seven hundred and eighty-count indictment, facing charges such as grand larceny and conspiracy. If convicted, they could each face up to twenty-five years in prison. This successful operation sends a clear message that such criminal activities will not be tolerated.
