Under his leadership, EDO delivered landmark litigation and advanced the law on climate change, ecosystem protection and cultural heritage. David has deep experience advising governments on environmental reforms and in 2016 received the Mahla Pearlman Award for Young Environmental Lawyer of the Year from the Law Council of Australia.He is a former board member of the Australian Conservation Foundation and has held voluntary governance roles with Torquay Surf Lifesaving Club, and the Environment Centre Northern Territory.
