The MONDAY Show
The MONDAY Show: The Jarbie Curse
•
Carter just returned from a trip to Tucson/Tombstone, Arizona, where she bought a poncho that the costumed street actors loved. A funny story about a friend from Tucson who went on to work Secret Service protection for Bush and Cheney. The hosts discussed Bill Paxton, his death, his age (61), and Big Love and Edge of Tomorrow, which Scott called one of his all-time favorite Tom Cruise films. Anime Witch Hat Atelier on Crunchyroll is good according to Carter, calling it visually stunning and noting it's simuldubbed. And a lot more!

The MONDAY Show: All that Pilk

Hugh loved the piercing video, pitched drag night at Nerdtacular during pride month with big chandelier earrings, and praised the new Frogpants site. Tom from Missouri was traumatized by drill scenes in horror movies and the 1973 TV movie Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, which kept him scared of the dark into his teens. He'd want to be the Wishbone dog owned by Keanu Reeves, which is a perfect answer. A listener asked Carter what animated movie shaped him most growing up. Someone nailed the fast and testimony meeting bit. Greg called about Pilk.
