As an independent woman in her early twenties, Miranda immigrated with her husband into the country, where he immediately fell ill with Cancer. She had lost everything from her house and car, to her job and dignity. After battling immigration and cancer for years, her husband got up and left their lives one day. In the blink of an eye, She had lost everything that made her; her. During her healing process, she chose to write her first series called Chin Up Tits Out - which follows their main character Hadley. Hadley is a more refined version of her in real life, their stories are very intertwined with each other. Fast forward 8 long years of healing, learning and building up her life from the ground up, she has an entire series out in the world, she moved into a house with her new partner, and had a beautiful baby girl this spring.
With her newest source of inspiration, she is writing her next series called Love My Lady Bits, which is based on real stories. For preparation of this new series she embarked on a journey to interview 100 women globally who all live with a chronic condition called Endometriosis. She is taking all these stories, and women and turning them into a 3 part series, in hopes to make "female part issues" less taboo to speak about, less embarrassing, and to help make these scenarios more relatable. Inspiring and empowering women who are going through tough life situations is something that she is most passionate about. She is honored to have the opportunity to share her story.
