Morgan Geyser Transferred from Jail

Morgan Geyser, the 23-year-old involved in the 2014 Slender Man stabbing case, has been transferred from the Waukesha County Jail to a mental health facility. This move comes after her attorney requested the transfer following her escape from a Madison group home and arrest in Illinois last month. Geyser had been placed in the group home after a Waukesha County judge granted her conditional release from mental health treatment earlier this year. She was arrested in Illinois after providing fake names to officers at a gas station. A motion hearing is scheduled for February 16, 2023, to address further details regarding her case.
