Two officers, Michael Crowe and Austin Taylor, have been identified in a fatal shooting last week. The incident occurred after a report of a man pointing a gun at a woman. Officers, upon arrival, found a man matching the description and holding a gun, leading to the shooting. Officer Crowe was also involved in another deadly shooting in 2021, but was cleared of policy violations. Body camera footage from the recent shooting is expected to be released within ten business days.
