Collin Kim, a junior at Harvard-Westlake School, has been named a 2026 YoungArts Award winner with distinction in Writing. This prestigious honor places him among the nations top young artists, selected from nearly 13,000 applicants. Kims writing has already earned recognition from Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, Poetry Society of Virginia, and National Council of Teachers in English. His poetry has been featured in Diode Poetry Journal and West Trade Review. As a YoungArts Award winner, Kim will receive a $250 prize and mentorship opportunities. He will also participate in National YoungArts Week in Miami and is eligible for additional honors, including a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts nomination.
