U.S. intelligence agencies have reportedly uncovered a potential plot by Iranian operatives to assassinate former President Donald Trump, sources confirmed today. This alarming discovery comes just days after a separate incident in which Trump narrowly escaped an attack during a public appearance on Saturday.

The newly revealed plot, identified through intercepted communications and surveillance, appears to be part of a broader effort by Iran to retaliate for the U.S. drone strike that killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in January 2020. Intelligence officials suggest that the plan was in the early stages and involved individuals linked to Iranian intelligence agencies operating outside of Iran.
