A newly formed Tropical Storm Helene is making its presence felt in the Caribbean Sea, as meteorologists closely monitor its potential trajectory and impact. The storm developed early Tuesday morning, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds to parts of the eastern Caribbean islands.
Current Status: As of the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Tropical Storm Helene has sustained winds of around 50 mph (80 km/h), with stronger gusts. The storm is moving west-northwest at approximately 12 mph (19 km/h), with the possibility of gaining strength in the coming days as it moves over warmer waters.
