A group of former employees of OceanGate, the company behind the ill-fated Titanic submersible, is scheduled to testify before a U.S. Coast Guard investigative panel. The hearing is part of an ongoing investigation into the catastrophic failure of the submersible, Titan, during a deep-sea expedition to the Titanic wreckage site in June 2024, resulting in the loss of five lives.
