Episode #3 - War

The past weeks have been extremely dificult, as we experienced the deadliest attack against civilians in Israel and from that moment we quickly escalated into a war against Hamas, however this is a war that could easily expand into a regional crisis, with other countries and terror organizations joining in, such as Iran on the east, and Hizballa from the north, a crisis that is an existantial threat to Israel and also to the rest of the western world.

My initial reaction like many others here was of shock, disbelief and silence, out of respect for the woundedm the dead, and the people kidnapped, however the realizations that we need to reach out and make our voices heard took over quickly.

There are many issues I have yet to address, yet this episode is a collection of the initial overwhelming thoughts and sentiments I experienced, as a peace seeking human being living in perhaps the worst region of the world when it comes century long going on conflicts.

    23:43
Operation Condor, Colombus Plan, The 119 List, all these were part of a synister cooperation between several countries in south America in order to erase any posible tracks of political prisoners that were murdered by similar military dictatorships. My father was able to escape the claws of operation condor thanks to the officer that put him on a field trial, and thus sending him to jail instead of being killed by the death squads. a year later he was kidnapped and murdered by the secret police and a year later the army stated his body was found in Argentina, claiming he escaped from prison and crossed the frontier and was killed in a battle with a leftist militia, however a brave journalist investigated the case and was able to prove this was a fabrication in order to absolve any responsability to his death.
