A Table-Top Role Playing Game (TTRPG) Podcast that takes the cast through a journey of hope, danger, and destiny. Each season our cast will embark on a new adventure with different TTRPG systems, helping to educate the cast and listeners.

Welcome to the Lettuce Inn, where TTRPG happy hour starts now. Using an ever-expanding menu of role-play systems, inn workers Erika, Jayson, Lindsey, Blake, and Mika will lead you (and themselves) through a new TTRPG gameplay course each season with harrowing storylines and a look at how each unique game system works.In episode 0, Game Master Erika introduces the Mouse Guard system while the players introduce their characters: Jayson as supermouse wannabe Q; Lindsey as the tenderhearted chef Mira; Blake as the nut-loving inventor Tweezers; and Mika as the owl hating cartography professor Lemon. You know the mission. Now let the journey commence.In episode two of our adventure using the Mouse Guard system, the end of winter moisture makes the journey south a tough one. The mud hinders not only the Guard but also a crotchety ol’ fruit seller who’s lost both his fruit and his assistants. Not taking kindly to the Mighty Q’s heroic efforts of assistance or Lemon’s calm breathing lessons, the stubborn old mouse only wants to be left alone! The journey might be branching off to a side quest, just as Jeysse would have wanted.In episode three of the Mouse Guard system, the guard shares harrowing campfire stories before finally arriving in Gipledge. Stalling, Lemon lets the guard first wander around the town. Lemon follows Mira to the Rusty Owl Tavern, where she learns a new recipe, and he takes a shot to set his mind at cheese, I mean ease. Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Tweezers uses a random smith’s tools without permission to fix the Mighty Q’s sword. And you cheddar, um.. better, believe there’s no more stalling! But after all that, it’s on to Finn’s farm! With maybe one more stop to the Rusty Owl...Remember, keep it casual. Sometimes side quests are the best quests.In episode four of the Mouse Guard system, the Guard agrees to help Finn recover the missing medicine. The quest seems straightforward enough until they unexpectedly come across a blind mouse who is picking up medicine that has been scattered all over the ground. You won’t brie-lieve what happens next.Back in Lockhaven, everyone gets to enjoy a post-mission one-on-one with Gwendolyn. We learn that Mira continues to worry over Tweezers’ poor eating habits and that Tweezers believes in Q’s potential. Let the first of three days of festivities honoring Jeysse commence!Jeysse always did like a little friendly competition, so Lemon hits the cider instead. Knowing she’d dominate at the bake-off, Mira surprises everyone by joining the fighting tournament where she potentially catches some feels for fellow competitor Timothy. Meanwhile, Tweezers pulls a Mira and joins the Great Mouse Bake Off, where he plans to wow with his use of—you guessed it—pecans. While showing support for his sidekick, Q develops a knack for pie heckling. There’s no escaping the Rusty Owl. Where were you during the clash of skillet and sword?The Mighty Q is up next in day one’s fighting tournament, and much to his pleasure… and everyone else’s surprise, he finds great success. And once the fighting is done, Tweezers takes on the last competition of the day: the cart fix. Toss in Mira trying Tweezers’ award-winning pecan pie and her flirty flirt action with Timothy, and this has all the makings of a great end to day one.Did Mira like the pie?
