She would go on to spend nearly 17 years with that organization working in management, dispatch, sales, marketing, and business development roles and initiating the inauguration of the organization’s 501(c)(3) which continues to raise money for veterans and children in need. During her tenure here, Jamie was awarded a scholarship by the NBAA which she used to earn her FAA Dispatch License from The Institute of Flight Operations & Dispatch in Dallas. In 2017, Mrs. Muñoz branched into technology by going to work for a Fortune 100 company where she oversaw FBO software development. While managing this and other technology initiatives, she earned her CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification. In 2020, Jamie was a Top 40 Under 40 recipient by the National Business Aviation Association for her work in the industry and in the summer of 2021, Jamie was offered the opportunity to serve as General Manager for a brand new FBO, where she currently works.
