Maliyah Brown's Life Celebrated After Tragic Death

Maliyah Brown, a dedicated basketball player and eighth grader, tragically lost her life in an ATV accident. Known for her natural leadership and kindness, she was a key member of the KC Dream basketball program and had begun training with Staley High Schools team. The community has rallied around her family, raising over ten thousand dollars for them and honoring Maliyah by wearing her number on their jerseys. A celebration of her life is scheduled for December fourteenth at St. Pius X High School.
