The Iron Hour

  • 61. We’re back - did you miss us?

    48:09||Season 4, Ep. 61
    We’re still about. Just been having a little rest and getting on with life and all it offers. Well it’s been a while but we discuss the end of the season and the Rochdale game. Yes we lost but the supporters didn’t disappoint at the final whistle. Lots of applause/cheers for the effort the team put in through the season. A game too far, though no one could begrudge Rochdale for eventually being promoted to the EFL. After the season they had, it was deserved beating BorehamWood in the final. We also discuss Cal Roberts and his moving on, the retained list. No real surprises in that. FPL gets a mention also, well done to Steve Walters on finishing first in the league. A great effort, if you can get in touch with us we’ll sort out your prize. Also in the pod mini league, Gareth finished bottom and earned the right to walk out as mascot on the first home league game of the season. Some people have all the luck haha. We also discuss our competition to win Branden Hortons match worn home league shirt from last season. Also a World Cup fantasy league, that’s free to sign up for. With the chance to win Connor Smiths match worn away short from last season. As always thanks for sticking with us and we’ll be back with more regular pods through the World Cup.
