The insuleoin Podcast - Redefining Diabetes
#248: Sara White (Part 2)
Part 2 of Eoin's chat with Sara White (@sarawhiteuk).
Sara was officially diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 9, but had been experiencing the symptoms and impacts of the condition from the age of 8.
Sara is a business owner and entrepreneur, originally from Romania, before she moved to the UK.
In this episode, Sara speaks openly about the tremendous challenges she’s faced with Type 1 Diabetes, and how she adjusted to this “new life” at such a young age.
Sara also speaks very honestly and openly about the consequences she’s faced as a result of her management over the years - an important message she wants to share with other people living with Type 1 Diabetes.
In this episode, Sara speaks about:
- How she found the adjustment to Diabetes as a young child.
- What her biggest challenges were living with the condition.
- What led her to going to rehab.
- What her advice would be to her younger self, and others in a similar position.
- And much more!
