Goose Girls Takeover - An Interview w/ Alicia Karlin
The Great Beyond is extremely excited to present another fabulous studio episode to our listeners - this time, with a show that has been completely taken over by dear friends and beloved ‘Goose Girls’ counterparts! Host Carina Immer and co-host Julia Mitri lead the way by reviewing upcoming, local appearances by Goose band members and special summer tour stops, such as the Newport Folk Festival. Julia also listens and reacts to Goose’s recently released studio single “Arrow.”
Carina also heads #downthepathway with special guest Alicia Karlin! Alicia is VP of Global Touring and Talent at AEG Presents and Talent Buyer for the critically acclaimed festival Electric Forest, where she oversees many aspects of the fan and artist experience. She is also the CEO and Co-Founder of Lively - a marketplace for creators and musicians to monetize their time and host intimate fan engagements - and sits on the Executive Board of the national non-profit Conscious Alliance.
Carina and Alicia cover a lot of ground, with topics including navigating through the pandemic, the genesis of the Lively platform, women in the music industry, and even though it’s NOT a Goose podcast (ahem, Carina), the girls even talk a little about those guys, too…it’s an incredible interview, so don’t miss it!
