It’s the final episode of Series 1! For this week, James and Megan delve into the science and folklore behind the northern lights which was seen all over the UK in the past week. Although on different sides of the country, they both had an amazing wildlife encounter whilst watching this beautiful phenomenon. ‘What The Fact?!’ this week centred around 'Rainforests'. Whoever wins this week’s competition will win the series as a whole… will it be the ‘Rhythm and Blues Lemurs’ or the ‘Electronica Eels’? We are also joined by the one and only Chris Packham who shares his story as well as a big call to action, asking listeners to join the Restore Nature Now march in London on June 22nd as he reminds us to ‘shout above the noise’ for wildlife.

James and Megan catch up after another busy week, one with seabirds on some beautiful Scottish islands, and the other back filming a wild upcoming series for BBC1! The pair go head to head with their best facts about prey animals! Who will win this week? Cheerleader crabs or spider florists? Also, joining as a special guest is wildlife filmmaker and penguin adore-er, Ruth Peacey.

We are also joined by PhD student, Eva Stewart, from London’s Natural History Museum who studies the mysterious world of the deep sea!

The world is full of amazing parental relationships, like the devoted octopus and strawberry dart frogs with dote on their young tadpoles individually, even carrying them on their backs to special pools. But who will take the crown? Will it be the unlikely twist of events between a funky plant and a fungus gnat or the epic care female orcas give to their fully-grown sons?! Joining us all the way from South Africa is Dr William Fowlds, an exceptional wildlife veterinarian and conservationist with a passion for rhinos.&nbsp;

In the week when the BBC's new series Mammals with Sir David Attenborough hit our screens, James and Megan reflect on some of their close (very close) mammal interactions! Meg describes her time filming hyena anal paste and scanning a pregnant female in Namibia. But, who will win the epic 'What The Fact' this week?! Will it be hornet-buzzing bats or the devious blue butterfly caterpillars.. both are masters of mimicry but which will take the crown? They are also joined by special guest, PhD student Graihagh Guille, who spends her time studying the impacts of pesticides on freshwater species.

We are also joined by botanist, author and science communicator Leif Bersweden as he inspires us to look at plants in a new light!
