#72. Tribute to my Wonderful Mum - Ann Marie Woodall (RIP 2/2/2022)
My beautiful mum Ann Marie Woodall passed away at 2pm on 2/2/22. (All the 2’s)
She was a true Entrepreneur, born in Manchester, Ex playboy bunny girl in Mayfair casino in the 70’s, ran pubs in London in the 80’s, and the 90’s onwards she trained in Hawaii and specialised in the power of the mind, relationships and transformations.
I want to celebrate her amazing life as she was a trail blazer and someone who lit up a room when she walked in.
12 months ago she was told she had the big ‘C’ & had 6 months to live.
She didn’t want to go down the Chemotherapy route & took the other route of Cannabis oils, CBD, Fasting, Spirituality, Meditation so she could spend a guaranteed 6 months with us.
Anyway she surpassed that, lasted 12 months with 11 months of bliss and this past month deteriorated quickly which was truly heartbreaking to see.
As a kid she gave me two of the most beautiful gifts; ‘Belief’ and having an ‘Optimistic’ mindset.
She taught me to always have a laugh at every opportunity, don’t take life seriously at all, spirituality, the importance of having good loyal friends and that people will always remember how you made them feel.
She has helped thousands of people across the world with her healing and transformation workshops in the roughest parts of South Africa, Thailand, Canada, USA, Vietnam & UK.
She also wrote a book called the ‘High Heeled Healer’. She taught me many things that will stick with me for life “A pound a man”, “ Break the rules”, “Everyone is a contact”, “Believe in miracles”, “Your word is your wand”, “Never stop manifesting”, “Try everything once”, “If you dream it, you can do it” and all these sayings have helped me get to where I am today.
Anyway I just wanted to share a snippet of her life as I’m not letting her slip away without a big shout out from her son.
She was a kind woman who saw the good in everyone, the wisest person I’ve ever come across in my lifetime, a true inspiration to me.
You did a great job mum and you’ve left me in a really good place to to carry on your legacy.
Love ya mum x

FOUNDER #44. Pilot’s Career Crashed, Then Built A £10M+ Empire From Scratch - Matt Robson
01:03:59|If you're a Founder and would like to come on the podcast, then you can apply on the link here 👉 https://dodgewoodall.com/guestMatt Robson opens up about how he went from airline pilot to building a multi-million pound property business and the mindset that turned quality properties into serious money.Never comfortable as an employee, Matt was flying for Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong making five figures monthly when the market priced him out. So he started buying back home in Middlesbrough for £100,000 - pulling 6-7 percent yields. By 2016, he had a dozen properties generating income while he slept. Mates kept asking for advice, so he built a website and started a business. His first deal: a house on a £110,000 street that he got for £77,000. What he discovered changed everything - cheap properties are a false economy. Tenants respect nice things and they hold value. Quality stock in the sweet spot compounds. Now running a multi-million pound operation, he's spotted what everyone's missing: Middlesbrough is changing. Treasury relocating. Net Zero Teesside launching. A million pounds there gets you a spectacular house. Same million in Bournemouth gets a decent semi. His philosophy: every day, get one percent better. This is the eventful life of Matt Robson. All Enquiries - Hello@DodgeWoodall.comWebsite: DodgeWoodall.comYouTube: Dodge WoodallFacebook: Dodge WoodallInstagram: @Dodge.WoodallTikTok: @DodgeWoodallLinkedIn: Dodge Woodall
#352. Brixton's Top Boy To Jungle Legend: Prison, Guns & Burial - Jumpin Jack Frost
01:17:57|Nigel Thompson "Jumpin Jack Frost" opens up about becoming one of the founding voices of jungle music and the years of addiction and prison that shaped the journey behind it.Raised in 1970s Brixton in a West Indian household steeped in sound-system culture, Frost was sneaking into local dances by age nine and expelled from school for fighting, all while his father served a 12-year sentence for armed robbery. He got his start on pirate radio alongside lifelong friend and business partner Brian G, before breakbeat and acid house pulled him toward what became jungle. He tells the story of recording "Burial" in a single five-hour session while out on bail on a firearms charge that later put him in prison, releasing it under the alias Leviticus and only decades later watching Def Jam rerelease it as an anniversary record.Behind the music was a slide into addiction that spiralled during lockdown, before he got clean three and a half years ago and nursed his mother through terminal cancer. Now he mentors young DJs and people in recovery, rebuilding bonds with his six children and nine grandchildren. This is the eventful life of Nigel Thompson "Jumpin Jack Frost". 01:31:21|If you're a Founder and would like to come on the podcast, then you can apply on the link here 👉 https://dodgewoodall.com/guestPaul Smith opens up about how he built a nine-figure property portfolio and the mindset that turned overlooked deals into serious money.Raised by two teachers in Yorkshire, Paul was doing house refurbs with his dad from age seven. He bought his first property outright for nine grand, did it up, sold it, and repeated the process three more times before he even realised he had a system. He breaks down the discovery that built his fortune: while everyone chased residential property, small commercial buildings - shops, offices, units under £2 million - sat mispriced and ignored. He tells the story of a five-tenant office block bought for £134,000 that brought in £36,000 a year from day one, and a derelict Doncaster office block picked up for £810,000 that later paid out £550,000 tax-free through capital allowances. Now living abroad and heavily invested in gold, he explains the thinking behind his book, The Art of Wealth which is distilled down to how to make money, protect it, and pass it on.This is the eventful life of Paul Smith. if you want to find out more about Paul:📖 BUY THE BOOK HERE:👉 https://mtwmb91.s.gy/Wealththroughpropertyhttps://joinaowi.com/ All Enquiries - Hello@DodgeWoodall.comWebsite: DodgeWoodall.comYouTube: Dodge WoodallFacebook: Dodge WoodallInstagram: @Dodge.WoodallTikTok: @DodgeWoodallLinkedIn: Dodge Woodall

#350. 21 Signs You’re Married to a Female Narcissist (They Never Change) - Phillip Dugas
57:14|Phillip Dugas opens up about a subject almost nobody talks about - the hidden abuse good, strong men suffer at the hands of narcissistic partners, and why most blokes wouldn't even recognise it's happening to them.Drawing on years of coaching men - athletes, entrepreneurs, even a US Navy SEAL - he breaks down how it starts: the love bombing and perfect-couple stage that curdles into years of walking on eggshells. He talks Dodge through gaslighting, isolation, and the gulf between a narcissist's public charm and private cruelty - the reason nobody believes the man when he finally speaks up. He unpacks the five red flags of a female narcissist, overt versus covert narcissism, and why almost none of them ever change. He lays out the exit strategy - documenting every argument, finding a tough divorce attorney before the smear campaign starts, and the brutal maths of staying versus leaving. And he opens up about the free resource, 21 Signs She Might Be a Narcissist, built to help men see the pattern before it's too late. This is the eventful life of Phillip Dugas. Alan discusses leadership, timing, mentoring the next generation of founders through Virgin StartUp, and what long-term success actually looks like once the exceptional wealth is no longer the thing that gets you out of bed in the morning. This is the eventful life of Mr Al Barratt.
