While Call The Midwife premieres its thirteenth season, The Episode One Show takes on the pilot as it follows real life midwife and memoirist Nurse Lee on her journey of growth in the slums of East London post World War 2. This workplace drama/case of the week/ fish out of water story clearly has real staying power and is much more than just "the show your mother likes".

Starring Justin Hartley as a mercenary with a mysterious past who specializes in...well tracking people, the episodic thriller feels very early 2000s TV. Think Prison Break expect out in the woods.
