The Dungeon House

With the return of Pinky bearing news of the general location of the Tsigani in the city, the party travels once again into the Bread Wall District. After getting some supplies, Ren hears the clamor of people coming from the BDBB (Black Dragon Bakery and Brewery, one of the first places they visited when the Vigils reached Havnok). Entering in, they party has their first run in with one of these legend keepers, an aging elf with golden eyes and a hijab like Scarf made of many different colors. She introduces herself as Gwendolyn and talks briefly to the Vigils of what she knows about the history of this great city. Much of what they have been able to find out is confirmed by the with the information stored in her Memory Weave. She takes special interest in the condition afflicting Ren's family members and promises to travel to Ba'wouli to learn what she can. The party then leaves and meets up with Brigadier Haws before adventuring into the undercity. As the Vigils trek down hallways turned sewers, they come to a crossroads of paths with the easterly end blocked by rubble and some sort of hovel built there. Barren, Ren, Pinky, and Alia find a rat-like person cowering under a table, and immensely effected by the shadow plague. Just as he is able to shout out a warning, shadows descend upon the party with Opal taking a beating from one. With the use of Adaliade's Moonbeam and Opal's radiant strikes, the battle quickly turns back in the Vigil's favor. With only one way to relieve his ailment, Ren makes the hard choice to put the suffering Wererat out of his misery.
