Our full Chipping Forecast review of the Masters where we hear from Rory McIlroy and Eddie joins for the first time in a week to give us his thoughts on what was the greatest golfing day in recent memory. We go through the highs and lows of that final round again and analyse where it was won and lost, with more than a tip of the Peter Millar cap to Justin Rose who has been rather lost in the Rory story. So, it happened. In a quite dramatic fashion. Our normal pod will drop later today, but here is our final mini-pod/chipolata of the 2025 Masters, as Rory McIlroy banishes the demons to take the green jacket and complete the career grand slam. Iain is drinking wine during this recording. That's how dramatic it was.

An unscheduled and slightly scrawny chipolata, but one which was necessary because of the situation at The Masters with an outstanding Saturday setting up what could be one of the great duels in major golf. Very tired and slightly incoherent, Andrew and Iain give their thoughts on what they saw on Saturday and what they hope or expect to unfold on Sunday at Augusta National.

Our Masters halfway point episode and there is more than a healthy dose of interest in the leaderboard as Justin Rose is still out in front with Bryson Dechambeau a shot further back, with Rory McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton, Shane Lowry and Scottie Scheffler close at hand. An intriguing first round of the Masters is done. Dusted. Andrew and Iain convene on opposite sides of the Atlantic to discuss it all, with Justin Rose finding himself in a very familiar position of leading at Augusta. But with Scottie Scheffler tied for second alongside Ludvig Åberg, the defending champion looms large in his bid to make it three wins win four years. And what in Heavens to Betsy happened to Rory? Our final big preview episode for the 2025 Masters in which Andrew and Iain persuade Eddie to join them from the United Arab Emirates, so that they can all share their relatively informed thoughts on what might happen over the next four days at Augusta National. Iain is invited round to Laurie Canter's very nice house to sit down and have a chat ahead of a Masters debut for Eddie's best man. We also hear from a very relaxed Rory McIlroy as he once again takes most of the attention in the build-up to what might or might not be the final leg of a Grand Slam. A momentous episode as The Chipping Forecast announces its new partnership with Peter Millar. Our trio celebrate by wondering if it would be possible for Andrew to break 100 at DLF and by further considering whether Eddie should be Prime Minister to improve Trans-Atlantic trade. They then discuss the win for Min Woo Lee in Houston, plus the good form of Scheffler and McIlroy and the fact that Laurie Canter is heading to The Masters. They also ponder the nature of friendship and bemoan the fact that Peter Millar is unlikely to see an uplift in sales in either Belarus or Slovenia.
