What a story developing at The Masters as Rory McIlroy opens the widest ever lead after 36 holes. So exciting is it, that Eddie decides to fight off the warm, welcoming arms of Morpheus to join Andrew and discuss matters, with Iain joining after his commentary duties. That will do for a description. It's all in the pod...

The Masters is underway and we're now wondering if Rory follow Jack, Nick and Tiger in keeping hold of the Green Jacket. Andrew and Iain come together with a short recap of the first round where not only did Rory impress, but so many big names are off to good starts, including World Number One Scottie Scheffler. Meanwhile as promised by both Andrew and Iain, Jose-Maria Olazabal took Aldrich Potgeiter to short-game school. And then beat him up in the playground and stole his lunch.

Twas the night before The Masters and Andrew and Iain convene to give their final thoughts ahead of the big show. They discuss the form of the main contenders as well as some other names to look out for. With Iain somewhere en route to the Players Championship, it's up to Andrew and Eddie to hold the fort this week, which they don't technically manage to do as Andy Murray scales the walls to join in and look ahead to the Sunningdale Foursomes. There is also conversation about Eddie's performance in Johannesburg and how he can carry the solid form of his South African trip forward when he has little competitive golf coming up, except to partner with a former tennis player against the man who was once the best youth golfer in Europe. The wins for Dan Bradbury, Akshay Bhatia and Jon Rahm are also discussed, while they wonder if there should be concern about the form of Scottie Scheffler or the injury to Rory McIlroy.
