Hi kids. We made a podcast. We talk about the Mets, Caitlin Clark, the Edmonton Oilers, and somewhere in there we discuss awful MLB giveaways.

Ball don't lie ... anymore! Angel Hernandez is retiring, and the world rejoices (except for the fact that nobody united the world better than Angel, because everyone hated his body of work.) Jake and I reminisce about the Angel Hernandez Era or Error, and complain about Chris Martin, Rick Carlisle, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

At the time of this taping the Mets were only 9-19 in their previous 28 games. So you can understand why Jake was brimming with optimism. I wonder if this episode would have been the same now that the Mets are 9-20 in their past 29. Come for the Mets talk, stay for the therapy.

This week, we go hard. Jake and I discuss the state of the Mets, and argue over the definition of "teetering". We take Ron Washington to task, we complain about laundry, and Jake has a very special diatribe about an idiot kicker not named Mike Vanderjagt.
