Mark Weiss: Not all of you will know this name. Mark is the photographer - THE photographer. Countless pictures go to his account that you immediately have in your head: The record covers of Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet", Twisted Sister's "Stay Hungry", Cinderella's "Night Songs", "The Last Command" by WASP, Dokken's " Under Lock & Key "- plus hundreds of front covers from various magazines, tour books and posters - you know them all. A few weeks ago his mammoth book" The Decade That Rocked" was published in the US - weighing almost 3 kilos and almost 400 pages of memories from the good old 80s. He was really there live when the 80s rocked. The book has recently been available to order in Europe via Amazon and if you still have an empty wish list for Christmas, here are the links.
But now get in and buckle up! In Part 1 we talk about his beginnings as a photographer and the really big events of the 80s: The "US Festival", "Live Aid", the recordings for Ronnie James Dio's project Hear N Aid with all the stars and the legendary "Moscow Love & Peace Festival ”, Let's get rocked!
