If you're a girl, there are unspoken rules of girl code that you and your friends adhere to. Most of it is PRETTY obvious (thou shalt not date your friend's ex), but sometimes some of the stuff needs spelling out.

So, Cassie, Kristin and Davi have put together the list of non-dating related GIRL CODE rules that all girlfriends must follow (unless, of course, those girlfriends have chosen TOGETHER to veto the rule).

Thou shalt not spill a secret to someone you are not authorized to. (Ahem, significant others.)

Thou shalt no borrow clothes without asking.

Thou shalt not copy the hair color or style of your friend.

Thou SHALL tell them if a dress looks bad on them (same with anything physical appearance - something in your teeth, smeared lipstick, smudged mascara, etc.).

Rule of dibs: thou shalt NOT buy the dress / clothing item your friend has already been eyeing.

If you’re normally texters but that girlfriend calls, thou shalt drop EVERYTHING to respond immediately.

Even if they break up, if she loves him and accepts him, thou must accept him, too.
