🎙️ West Ham v Brentford Preview Podcast

It’s another London derby week — and the Beesotted crew of Billy The Bee Grant and Laney are back on the mics to chat all things Brentford as we head to the London Stadium to take on West Ham.

We look back at the Manchester City game with JB bringing his trademark facts and funk, while Bees Breakdowndeliver the tactical and statistical lowdown on what went right, what went wrong, and how the Bees can bounce back this weekend.

There’s plenty of international chat too — with England becoming the first European team to qualify, Tuchel bizarrely lambasting fans for not singing, and then England supporters making up for it with karaoke antics in Riga. The Beesotted boys also went on a whistle-stop tour of the Baltics, taking in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in just a few days — so expect a few stories from the road.

Elsewhere in the Brentford world:

🐝 Milambo suffers an ACL injury

🐝 Aaron Hickey picks up an injury playing for Scotland

🐝 Romelle Donavan scores a worldie against QPR – is he edging closer to a first-team start?

🐝 Benjamin Fredrick continues to shine for Nigeria — five games, 450 minutes, never subbed, and plenty of hype building around the 20-year-old

🐝 Benjamin Arthur gets a mention as one to watch

🐝 Damsgaard scores for Denmark, who continue to impress on international duty

🐝 Ethan Pinnock’s Jamaica bounce back and get their World Cup qualification campaign back on course

We also chat about Kevin Schade — and ask, is Thomas Frank interested in signing him permanently?

And as ever, there’s more facts and funk when the winners of the Beesotted x Steam Packet quiz from the Man City match — Nemo — try to give JB a run for his money.

Finally, Andy Payne from Hammers United joins us to give the full lowdown on West Ham, their season so far, and what to expect this weekend.
