Caldwell County Deputy Constable Aaron Armstrong tragically lost his life after being shot in a nightclub parking lot. Off-duty and working security, he was fatally wounded in an altercation. Two suspects were swiftly apprehended, with Thomas Vances facing capital murder charges and Ronaldo Ernesto Colindres-Simon charged with assault. Armstrong, a dedicated public servant, was remembered for his volunteer work teaching gun safety and his commitment to safety at his church.
