THE ARTSHOUSE MAY 17TH 9 TO 10

On this week’s show Elmarie Mawe spoke to George Hanover about a new children’s writing project from Triskel for Cruinniú na nOg.

We’ve new music from Fiona O Brien and Castlyons Gospel Choir…. but they don’t sing a note

A sensational song co-written by Sally O Leary from Cork and recorded by Claire O Leary and her colleagues in the West End

And a new play commissioned by Corcadorca, which incredibly foretold the experience of lockdown we’re all going through. Elmarie was chatting to its author Eadaoin O Donoghue.

This week Conor Tallon got to catch up with Mick Hannigan from Indie Cork…Cork’s Festival of Independent Film…where they have put out an interesting and fun challenge for Cork Film makers of all types!

And Conor went back in time thousands of years to the age of the Greek Gods …also saying thank you to frontline staff everywhere in the company of Michael Waldron from The Crawford.

And we’ve news on free professional training from the Opera House and ideas on things to do from the Glucksman…we’ve never seen a busier time in the arts to be honest!
