The annual Masters of Tradition Festival kicks off in Bantry, and there’s still some tickets left for events, so Conor Tallon spoke to Meg O Connell, Programme Coordinator ...looking for the inside track on what's still up for grabs!!

 Before it's international tour kicks off “Judy End of the Rainbow" opens at The Everyman Theatre. Conor Tallon spoke with it's director Conor Hanratty. ..revealing an extraordinary cast that are bringing this colourful musical gem to life on stage - telling the tale of a remarkable woman with her own incredible story.

Live in studio Conor Tallon was joined by Laura Harte and Declan Wolfe to chat about a brand new Improv performance full of Craic in the Cork Arts Theatre! 

The Tidy Towns competition has come to Ballydeasa....telling the story of Roisin's return home.This side splitting film with shades of dark humour began its Cork shoot Naturally It’s called “A Tidy Town” and director Ailish Castillo told Conor Tallon all about it. ...and along the way they uncovered a shared path in their careers!

A Streetcar named Desire by Tennessee Williamsis at the Everyman Theatre ... with Lee Productions Conor Tallon spoke to Director Aaron O Keefe and also Erin Stavrianos who plays the iconic role of Blanche DuBois. 

Elmarie Mawe was joined live in Studio by composer John O'Brien and librettist Éadaoin O'Donoghue, to talk about their brand new opera telling the tale of Cú Chulainn. We all heard the Red Branch Knights stories in Primary school, but there's far more to "the man, they myth, the legend" than we ever heard back then! John and Éadaoin have had 5-Star reviews for The Morrigan, which was their first opera in the Celtic mythology arena. Sung in English, audiences acclaimed it and fell in love with their approach. This one sounds follows on from The Morrigan, in a way, seems absolutely epic and they had a great chat about it on The Arts House.

Eimear O'Brien joined Conor Tallon live in Studio to chat about this year's Cork Heritage Open Day. Now, we ALL know there's nowhere like Cork - but even we don't really know the half of it!!! What a packed day is in store for us all! Listen in and pick out your favourites!!
