The Crawford Art Gallery in Cork is set to undergo a transformative regeneration, and to that end must close its doors from the autumn of 2024. In one of its final exhibitions before that happens, they invited the people of Cork to vote for their favourite works "You Tell - We Show" ..............and now those works have been gathered for a special exhibition, as selected by the public. A stunning summer song from Cork's Fiona Kennedy, inspired by a moment in time, when Mary Elmes, who was saving Spanish children during WW2, encountered a group of gypsies who were also fleeing persecution.
