What a pure pleasure to have the brilliant Marja Gaynor in studio with Elmarie Mawe, as they chatted ahead of the Ortús Chamber Music Festival 2026.

Conor Tallon caught up with Fiona Farrell to gather a super suggestion-list of books, for Valentines to Palentines and everyone in-between!

Elmarie Mawe and Conor Tallon were joined in studio by Therese O Sullivan, choreographer and cast members Andrew Armitage and Megan Grufferty, from the MTUCSM Degree in Musical Theatre, ahead of the stunning show "Come From Away". It tells the true story of the tiny town of Gander in Newfoundland, whcih overnight welcomed 7000 stranded plane passengers on the day of September 11th 2001.

What tremendous work is being done by Sample Studios in the field of supporting artists in Cork. Conor Tallon spoke to Director Aoibhie McCarthy about a new bursary scheme which will make a hige difference to 15 specially chosen artists this year.

Marking its 50th birthday, the Cork Arts Theatre has embarked on a series of super initiatives and programmes. One of those involves promoting new plays with female directors. Elmarie Mawe spoke to Julie Kelleher who is directing the Irish premier of the play "Infinity" which opens on February 5th.

Elmarie Mawe chatted to Cork author Martin McSweeney about his new thriller set in Cork in the 1960s, called "Sins of the Father." It's a page-turner!

Cork has lots of great film clubs scfreening great films from the world of independent cinema. Conor Tallon chatted to Jamie Monagan about this week's Cine Club screening in the city, and had news of Clonakilty and Bantry screenings as well this week.
