Elmarie Mawe caught up with young superstar Lottie O'Driscoll and her mum Celine, before they flew to Georgia for Lottie to represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovsion Song Contest on Saturday December 13th. Voting opens on JESC.tv on Friday December 12th!

Continuing the superb season of talks and lectures, opening a world of insight into the Decorative and Fine Arts, Tom Spalding told Conor Tallon about the December lecture on December 13th at 11.30am in Nano Nagle Place!

On one night, December 12th, Waterstones in Cork is host to, well, a HOST of Cork Writers! All coming to share and celebrate new publications this year. And they'll be joined by choirs singing and spreading Christmas cheer, and there'll be mince pies and the lot. It sounds like a great night to put in the calendar, as John Breen was telling Conor Tallon!

What a concept this is, and what success it's brought down through the years!! Conor Tallon was delighted to talk to Jim Horgan from the Cork Arts Theatre about this December's "10 x 10" series, in which EVERY single night, ten different short plays are performed on stage! Variety and the full run of emotions guaranteed!

They're part of many families' tradition at Christmas now, and if you haven't made it part of yours well this is your sign. Every year the Cork Youth Orchestra celebrates Christmas with a phenomenal Gala concert, this year featuring West End Star Killian Donnelly. And the afternoons of that weekend, the musicians play not one, not two, not three but FOUR matinee concerts, at which the family-favourite "The Snowman" is screened, with the Orchestra playing the score Live. Added to that a programme of Christmas and festive favourites and classics and it's Christmas all wrapped up. Director Tomás McCarthy, and Co-Leaders Ruairí Walsh and Maeve Ní Chathasaigh joined Elmarie Mawe and Conor Tallon in studio to chat about it all.
