As people of the Mediterranean, the sea connected us, enabling cultural exchanges and travel. From the 19th to the early 20th century, many Maltese emigrated to Tunisia, Morocco, and Libya. Today, their descendants still carry Maltese traditions. This memory-sharing session, in collaboration with Spazju Kreattiv and Art Explora, invited people to discuss Maltese emigration to North Africa, Gibraltar, the Middle East, Italy, France, and beyond.
