A little more informal than my previous conversations. I had the opportunity to sit down with an old friend of mine, Julian and his other half Phoebe, and discuss their eventful year, buying a house and having a baby during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We discuss the process, the challenges faced, and hopefully help anyone listening understand the importance of doing your research and understanding what is needed from you before deciding to buy.

This week, I met with Josh Way of Ask About Mortgages to discuss the initial steps of obtaining a mortgage, and how a mortgage broker can assist with these steps.

In this episode, we explore the solicitor process when buying and/or selling a home, and shading a light on all the key aspects of what a solicitor does during the transaction. In the future, Ellie and I will get together again to delve deeper into the process, explaining in greater detail the key elements of this.
