However, when a close family member went through a life changing conversion, he decided to investigate for himself the claims of Christianity. Alan West was a famous footballer, and played alongside Pele, Beckenbauer, Cruyff and George Best. He captained Luton Town Football club, and played for them for nearly a decade, and had won the FA youth cup as a young footballer with Burnley, but he didn't know, or want to know anything about Christianity.
