Flutterwave, Africas largest fintech company, has acquired Mono, a Nigerian startup, in an all-stock deal valued between $25 million and $40 million. This acquisition allows Flutterwave to integrate payments with verification, risk checks, and direct bank payouts, expanding its services across more than 30 countries. Mono, often referred to as the Plaid of Africa, provides APIs for businesses to access bank data, initiate payments, and verify customer details.
